Designing for Efficiency

This case study aimed to enhance the Suzzallo Starbucks experience by addressing issue that arose from our user research. We explored factors influencing student actions and decisions throughout visit, culminating in three key findings for potential improvements.

Study purpose

To enhance efficiency and ease of attending Suzzallo Starbucks, reducing the burden of getting coffee.

Context

Wait times for coffee cost US coffee drinkers over $4 billion in lost productivity yearly [1]. Identified issues at Suzzallo Starbucks include long lines, busy student schedules, environmental challenges, and menu accessibility.
